Adam Kehela is a purpose-driven product development engineer with a deep passion for the outdoors. Whether hauling a trailer across the country or finding hidden campsites, family trips throughout North America have always been his greatest joy.
However, seeing close family members navigate life with mobility challenges changed his perspective on outdoor freedom forever.

When you camp with us, your adventure fuels a bigger purpose. 100% of Kehela Camping’s revenue funds directly or indirectly the research, prototyping, testing, and development of our assistive mobility technology.
A Mission for True Independence
As an engineer, Adam saw a problem that needed solving: millions of wheelchair users are forced to choose between indoor maneuverability, outdoor capability, sitting, standing, or climbing stairs . Existing equipment often limits access to the places people love most.
This realization led to the founding of Project X —an initiative dedicated to developing next-generation, highly capable assistive mobility solutions.
